'The 18th is a great finale on the West Course. The magnificent view from the tee is always something to look forward to, as it is positioned at the top of a hill overlooking much of the resort, the surrounding countryside and the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean in the distance. As the tee sits very high above the fairway, the wind is always ready to play its part - a great finishing hole.'

'Our family four ball (my wife, my parents and myself) teed-off at 5:00 pm on a beautiful June evening. At 8:55 pm, we left the course "at peace with the world". We all agreed that it was the best golfing experience ever. My father is still talking about three of the Par 3 holes - 2nd, 13th and 16th. The course was in superb condition, excellent greens, views to die for and the most tranquil of settings.'
Bob Farrell, United Kingdom
'The prettiest and toughest of the three courses at La Manga. Calls for accurate irons and few opportunities to let rip with the wood except 6th and 8th and then at the 18th. The holes get better and better as you near the magnificent 18th and the par 3's are all tough. Hit it straight on this course and you will score well, otherwise you'll find more points on your driving license. '
