Jonathan, 57, is a graduate of Manchester University and as chartered accountant has spent much of his working life on the finance side of the transport and distribution industries, giving him the opportunity to travel extensively around the world.
He has developed his love of travel over 40 years through leading trekking and 4WD expeditions in Europe and Iceland predominantly throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's in addition to mass sponsored walk events for scout groups and schools.
Over the last 10 years Jonathan has participated in several charity cycling events and has planned innovative routes and itineraries for several throughout Europe, some of which are featured here.
Jonathan also has a love of classical music including opera and landscape photography which can be seen in evidence on this web site. He is married with two grown up daughters.
