Matt has been playing tennis for 15 years and still has the same enthusiasm and passion for the game as he did at the start of his tennis career.
Since starting playing he has competed in both amateur and professional events, as well as representing Derbyshire at a senior county level.
Since the age of 18 Matt has been a full time tennis coach for 8 years. He has worked with both individuals and groups of players of all ages and abilities and has developed a broad spectrum of knowledge throughout his career.
Matt is also very experienced with the use of video analysis and incorporates this fantastic coaching tool into his coaching on a daily basis.
Matt is currently the Junior tennis manager at David Lloyd in Derby and devotes most of his on court time working in the specialist area of working with high performance youngsters, ranging from county to national standard.
Matt also enjoys the social interaction of coaching the adult members of the club. He enjoys working with players of all standards, helping them realise their goals and aspirations in a fun environment.
