I've enjoyed the game of tennis since the age of 8. I competed in the Berkshire area and was successfully crowned champion at Under 13, 15 and 18 age groups.
I moved to Leeds in 1997 where I completed a degree in Leisure and sport, whilst playing for the university team in the National BUSA league.
In 1999 I qualified as a DCA coach and turned full time in 2000. I became an integral part of the coaching team at South Leeds Tennis centre for 7 years.
In 2001 I accepted the position of Head coach at Upper Armley Tennis Club and developed the clubs programme in order to achieve mini tennis accreditation.
From 2003-2006 I was responsible for coaching the Leeds University Ladies Tennis team.
I qualified as a CCA Performance coach in 2005.
Moving to David Lloyds Leeds in 2006 has given me a new lease of life with my coaching. I currently have over 60 clients whom I coach on a regular basis ranging from Tiny Tots to Adults and Beginners to Performance players.
