I first started playing tennis when I was 13 years old, and have never looked back since! I started at David Lloyd Warrington and after 6 months had established myself as a regular in the men's team and was the captain of the under 15's team. I captained the under 15's and under 18's team to victories, which had never been done at the club, and my obsession for doubles began. I played for any men's team, mixed team, winter league and knock out league match that I could, and always tried to travel to the likes of Wimbledon and Calderstones tennis in Liverpool to catch the doubles games. In 2006 David Lloyd asked me to become a coach and they put me into the PTR qualification, from which I recieved Instructor level. I worked part time at the club until 2008 when unfortunately I injured my shoulder during the Ilkley tournament which I was forced to have an operation on. I took my time off and went to work for Walt Disney World Florida, where I worked on the Jungle Cruise Ride in the Magic kingdom, and I was also a few characters and worked on the parades. In September 2009 I decided to go full time at David Lloyd Warrington, and i currently split my time between there and David Lloyd Cheshire Oaks. My areas of expertise are red mini tennis, improver standard adults, junior improvers from 13-16, and of course my personal favourite- doubles tactics. Having had many coaches in the past, some of whom have been world ranked, and having played and been coached in La Manga, including coaches who are currently on the professional circuit and eve hitting with Andy Castle, I have picked up all different drills and styles of coaching and have tried to combine them into how I feel a successful coach should be.
