For the non-skiers

Just because you don’t ski or can’t ski this year doesn’t mean you cant come away with the family and enjoy a winter holiday. You might not want to leave the chalet, after all you have your own private spa facilities and staff on hand all day but if you do want to stretch your legs the resort does offer leisure facilities that include a gym, full size swimming pool, ice skating rink and climbing wall along with a bowling alley. If that all sounds a little energetic our top tip would be a crêpes and hot chocolate at the Crèperie Grand Marnier, you’d have to go along way to beat their afternoon delights.

  Resort Nightlife See More

Après Ski:

We find most clients prefer to return to the chalet after skiing to enjoy the scrumptious afternoon tea provided by the chef followed by some relaxation in the hot tub, accompanied by a glass of something sparkling.

However sometimes it’s nice to let your hair down and dance around in your ski boots and Méribel has no shortage of live music on offer daily, both for Après ski and evening entertainment. La Folie Douce is a favoured fancy spot with VIP seating available, Après starts with a cabaret that continues on to lively music that really gets the crowd up on their feet and singing along. The ‘Ronnie’ Le Rond Point is also a popular après destination on the slopes and close to the chalet.

  Food See More

Our Cuisine

At chalet Pont du Cam we work with you to ensure your menu for the week is full of the tasty meals you desire. It isn’t what we want to cook, it is what you want to eat. We will arrange a pre arrival call with your chef to discuss your meal preferences and then we’ll produce your bespoke menu.

Breakfast, considered to be the most important meal of the day is certainly treated that way in Chalet Pont du Cam. We provide you with a delicious continental buffet including cereals, yoghurts, compotes, fresh fruit, cold meat, cheese and freshly squeezed juices. All this, along with our daily cooked options. There’s no chance you’ll be skiing on an empty stomach.

After a hard days skiing its back to the chalet for our sumptuous afternoon tea. A daily choice of sweet treats, savoury snacks and light bites. Just make sure you leave room for your dinner.

If you have the little ones with you your chef will prepare their favourite meals, served at a child friendly time, leaving you able to enjoy your evening once they’re off to bed.

Once the children are settled it’s time for you to enjoy your evening. Start with an aperitif of your choice and a selection of innovative canapés, perhaps around the fire or at the bar. The evening continues with a meal from your bespoke menu accompanied by the chalets fine wines.

If you have a special occasion to celebrate then leave it to us to organize a truly memorable evening with an extra special dinner, your favourite birthday cake, entertainment or perhaps some fireworks.

Unfortunately your chef does need to take a night off. You decide what night you’d like to eat out and your chalet manager can give you her list of recommendations. We’ll book the restaurant of your choice and our chauffeur will ensure your effortless journey there.

Champagne & Wine

We like to take a broad approach on wine and like to take time to research the perfect wines for your stay. Wines that deliver great flavour, are fun, maybe a little serious, but most of all enjoyable. With great wines now available from all over the world, we take a more international approach and choose wines with no preconceived thoughts on where they are from, but with just one intention…..that they are delicious and memorable.

Our house wine list contains 4 white wines, 4 red wines, a Champagne and a Prosecco. They aren’t just limited to your evening meal though, you are on holiday after all. You can have a glass of wine or something sparkling any time night or day and where better to enjoy an ice cold glass of Prosecco than in the luxurious outdoor hot tub or whilst sunning yourself on the large south west facing terrace.

We do understand that not everyone is a wine drinker and so we also provide ice cold beer and branded spirits. Your chalet team are on hand at all times to pour your favourite drink or mix your favourite cocktail.

Mamaku Sauvignon Blanc 2013
We say: Straight-down-the-middle Kiwi Sauvignon—quite rich and pungent, the total opposite of classic French Sauvignon, a real mouthful.

Domaine de Bieville Chablis 2013
We say: A round, supple Chablis from a trustworthy producer – riper and creamier-tasting than most; perfect with poultry.

Alamos Malbec 2013
We say: A perfect example of what has made Argentine Malbecs so popular – dark, ripe, almost chocolatey flavours, with silky tannins and a super-smooth mouthfeel. Delicious.

Chateau de Francs, Cotes de Francs 2010
We say: Uber-smooth, uber-soft, velvety red from the Merlot-dominant bit of Bor-deaux — yumyum

Laurent Perrier Champagne
We say: We are delighted to be working with this Champagne house.

We know that Champagne maybe not everyone’s favourite , so we have decided to give you an option of a Prosecco. Perfect for those who enjoy a lighter bubble and ideal when soaking up the last rays of sun in the hot tub.
